We are extremely fortunate to have Ken Jenkins on our team. Ken is a founder member & a director of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, (the largest Jaguar club in the world) and is a world-renowned fount of knowledge on all things Jaguar. He is also a director & honorary member of the Jaguar Specialists Association Ltd. We always have a selected few cars available for sale and through our extensive contracts throughout the UK & beyond we can often find something special to suit a customers own requirements. We were recently approached by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust , to find a very special XK model for a "Senior Executive" of Jaguar's parent company, Ford. The "Senior Executive" was none other than Jac Nasser - World President & Chief Executive of the Ford Motor Corporation. After
an extensive search, YHP 791 was found for sale, one of the most
strategically important XK 150's to survive, chassis number T825025
DN. Engine Number VAS 1001-9. The car, which still retains its original
UK registration number, was the first 3.8 XK150S ever built and
was first registered to Jaguar cars on 12th October, 1959. It was
then used extensively as a press car, driven by such renowned journalists
as John Bolster & Chris Jennings. Copies of the press reports
can be seen at the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Museum in Coventry. |
